Unveiling New Speakers and Sessions
Greetings Data Innovation Summit fans,
The Data Innovation Summit in Stockholm is buzzing with excitement as we bring you the latest updates from this week’s stellar lineup. Let’s dive straight into the noteworthy sessions and speakers across various stages.
Future Outlook Distinguished Speaker Announced
Traditionally, we are thrilled to announce that this year’s distinguished Opening Dialogue guest will be Erik Slottner, Sweden’s Minister for Public Administration, who will join Kye Andersson for a special Future Outlook session. As a key figure in Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson’s cabinet since 2022, Slottner has been instrumental in shaping policies around digitalization, public procurement, and governance. With a political career spanning leadership roles in the Young Christian Democrats and as Deputy Mayor of Stockholm, he brings deep expertise in public administration. This session will explore the evolving role of digital policy and governance, setting the stage for an insightful discussion on the future of data-driven decision-making.
New Speakers and Sessions
Additionally, Deepak Yadav from Amazon will dive into AI-driven automation in modern data platforms, in the famous Data Engineering and DataOps Track, while Nela Chereja and Joan Chan from RTL Nederland will explore how internal academies can foster AI adoption across organizations – in the newly established Devops Stage.
Olof Granberg, AI strategist at DataMentor, a well known figure for the fans of the event, will share five practical actions to make data AI-ready – in the senior Modern Data Strategy Stage, and Josefine Boqvist (Deerdata) and Gunilla Thorén (Volkswagen Group Sweden) will offer fresh perspectives on data quality—arguing that data should be treated like people to ensure reliability and effectiveness, as part of the Analytics Track. Steve Holyer from Informatica will highlight the crucial role of data management in the success of Generative AI initiatives, as an opening session of the Impact Stage.
Petr Janda, Founder & CEO of SYNQ, joins as both a speaker in the Database and Data Quality stage, but also as a panelist on developing data products as strategic assets, at the Data Octagon stage.
New Partners & Collaborations
We are excited to welcome IBM as the new stage partner for the Data Engineering and DataOps track. Additionally, several industry-leading companies have joined as partners, including Vaultspeed, dScribe Data, Kyvos, Broadcom, Rill Data, and ClickHouse. Our network of supporting partners continues to expand with the addition of Bloomreach and PAYSTRAX.
