New Speakers, Panels and Partners to enrich your delegate experience

Olof Steinert – Senior Data Scientist | Scania CV AB 

In “Unlocking the Future of Transports: Harnessing Data for Predictive Maintenance and Collaboration,” presented by Olof Steinert, Senior Data Scientist at Scania CV AB, attendees will delve into the strategic application of connected data to revolutionize transportation. The talk emphasizes the vital role of predictive maintenance and remote issue diagnosis in mitigating unexpected downtimes, particularly in autonomous and electrified transport solutions.

Thomas Capelle – Machine Learning Engineer | Weights and Biases 

In “Squeeze Maximum Performance from Large Language Models,” presented by Thomas Capelle, Machine Learning Engineer at Weights and Biases, attendees will explore the nuances between utilizing pre-trained models via APIs and fine-tuning open-source models. Through real-world use cases, Kleczek will demonstrate strategies for achieving maximum performance in an organized manner. Participants will gain insights into when and how to leverage API models effectively, learn tricks and collaboration techniques for fine-tuning jobs, and discover the best models suited for their specific needs.

Jonathan Sunderland – Catalyst | Ab Initio & Ben Clinch – Principal Enterprise Architect for Information Architecture | BT Group Plc

In the Modern Data Platfrom track, Ben Clinch and Jonathan Sunderland advocate for leveraging memes to foster a data-driven culture within enterprises, in their talk titled: Metadata Memes – the power of provocation to enable a more data-driven culture across the enterprise. Memes serve as tools to spread and solidify ideas effectively, moving beyond conventional communication methods like language and PowerPoint.

We’re also delighted to welcome three new panelists to the Data Octagon Stage:

Mats Stellwall – as the Field CTO for Data Science at Snowflake, Mats Stellwall leads the Product Review session. With his expertise in data science, he provides insights into Snowflake’s products and their applications, guiding attendees through a review of the latest offerings and advancements in the field.

Lasse Girs – the Head of Generative AI Enablement at Solita, joins the panel on “Harnessing the Power of Generative AI.” In this session, Girs shares his knowledge and experience in overcoming core challenges for enterprise value through the implementation of generative AI technologies. 
Henrik Norhøj Nielsen – Principal Sales Engineer at Snowflake, participates in the panel titled “Modern Data Strategy for Decentralized Value Creation.” As a new panelist, Nielsen offers expertise on the components, capabilities, and tools required for implementing a modern data strategy that fosters decentralized value creation within enterprises.
